Chavarria died from multiple injuries, said the Bucks County Coroner's Office. The manner of death was ruled accidental.
It happened near the intersection with Vermillion Drive, Falls Township police previously said. Chavarria was hit by a Nissan Rogue around 7 p.m. and pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
The driver of the Nissan, a 21-year-old Morrisville resident, remained on-scene and is cooperating with investigators, the department added. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have played a part in the deadly crash.
Chavarria, known to friends and family as Julio, will be remembered for his kindness, loved ones said on a GoFundMe page.
Campaign organizers said the 64-year-old wanted to be buried in his native Guatemala, and are raising money to honor his final wish. The effort raised nearly $1,000 within 24 hours of launch.
